The names of the new recipients of the prestigious "Bulgarian Ambassadors of Culture 2025" award will be announced today, June 17. The official ceremony will take place at the National Archaeological Institute with Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences at 6:00 p.m.
For another consecutive year, the Bulgarian National Radio will honour Bulgarian artists, authors and scholars whose creative and academic achievements have crossed national borders and contributed to Bulgaria's visibility on the international cultural stage.
The initiative is carried out with the active participation of BNR's audiences. Each year, listeners nominate creators with outstanding achievements across various artistic and cultural fields. The final selection of the award recipients is made by a distinguished jury, which chooses the most influential cultural figures of the past year.
Over the years, the distinction has been awarded to some of Bulgaria's most prominent authors, artists and scholars working both in the country and abroad. The "Bulgarian Ambassadors of Culture" campaign has become an integral part of BNR's long-term commitment to promoting Bulgarian creativity and strengthening cultural ties with Bulgarian communities around the world.
The organizers invite all admirers of Bulgarian art and culture to join the celebration.
Admission to the event at the National Archaeological Institute with Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences is free of charge.
