Glass art exhibition opens at Ministry of Culture gallery

An exhibition featuring selected works from the collection of the International Glass Biennale opens today at the Sredets Gallery of Bulgaria's Ministry of Culture. The display includes recent acquisitions and works donated after previous editions of the biennale, some of which are being shown publicly for the first time since they were exhibited there.

According to the organisers, the exhibition presents a range of approaches to glass art, from traditional techniques to experimental practices and new technologies. The International Glass Biennale, first held in 2017, has built a collection of more than 250 works through donations from participating artists. The exhibition runs until July 9.
