Temperatures will rise at the end of the week

On Friday, the lowest temperatures will be between 11 and 18°C. For Sofia, it is expected to be 11°C. During the day before noon it will be mostly sunny. In the afternoon and in the evening, mainly over Western Bulgaria, rainy cloudiness will form. In isolated places, mainly in the mountain ranges, there will be showers and thunder. There will be light to moderate wind from the northeast. The highest temperatures will be between 26 and 31°C. In the capital it will be around 27°C.

At the Black Sea coast it will be mostly sunny before noon. In the afternoon there will be temporary increases in cloudiness, but without precipitation. There will be light to moderate wind from the east-northeast. The highest temperatures will be between 23 to 25°C. Sea water temperature is between 18°C in the north to 23°C along the southern part of the coast.

Sunny weather will prevail in the mountains before noon. Clouds will form in the afternoon and evening and in isolated places in the massifs of the western part of the country there will be rain showers and thunder. There will be moderate northeasterly wind. The maximum temperature at 1200 m above sea level will be about 16°C; at 2000 m it will be about 9°C.
