Traffic through border checkpoints and crossings with neighboring countries is normal, reported the Border Police. At the Ruse–Giurgiu border crossing, the major renovation of the bridge over the Danube River is nearing completion, with traffic currently restricted to a single lane on the Bulgarian section of the bridge.

As of June 19, traffic has been restored on the newly repaired Sofia-bound lane of the Trakia Motorway between km 55 and km 60 in the Pazardzhik region, the Road Infrastructure Agency announced. The remaining repair works on the motorway in the Sofia, Stara Zagora, and Yambol regions are expected to be completed by the end of June.

During the past 24 hours, 30 serious road accidents occurred across the country. No fatalities were reported, while 33 people sustained injuries, according to the Traffic Police.

During the same period, 86 fires were extinguished nationwide, 20 of which caused significant material damage, according to the Directorate General Fire Safety and Civil Protection.
