Olympiacos could play EuroLeague home games in Sofia

Sasha Vezenkov and Greek basketball champions Olympiacos BC could play their home EuroLeague games in Bulgaria next season, BGNES reported, citing its sources in Greece.

The reason is that the club’s arena is currently undergoing renovations, which are expected to be completed in November or December.

The club’s management is now considering alternative options. Among the possibilities are Serbia and Bulgaria. Last season, Hapoel Tel Aviv BC played its Euroleague home games in Bulgaria.
