Minister of Innovation to consult robots

The Minister of Innovation and Digital Transformation Ivan Vasilev announced that he was creating an advisory council of robots for the ministry. “Robots that will give me advise, but will not replace people,” Vasilev also said during Webit 2026 in Sofia.

He invited the robot Robert, who participated in the discussion, as well as the robot Sophia, who opened the forum, as the first member of the council, BTA reports. The government’s goal is to make Bulgaria the best place to start and develop a business with high added value in Europe, Vasilev added and pointed out 3 prerequisites for success in this direction - the presence and attraction of talents, the presence and access to capital and a favourable environment for doing business.
