Japanese Bulgarian studies specialists meet at Bulgaria’s Embassy in Tokyo

The Bulgarian Embassy in Tokyo hosted a meeting with Bulgarian studies specialists from Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. At the meeting, held on 23 June, Ambassador Marieta Arabadjieva and embassy staff discussed current issues in bilateral relations with their guests, as well as the key role of Bulgarianists and Japanologists in strengthening friendly ties and cooperation between the two countries.

A musical greeting was performed by Mr. Yusuke Hosaka, a pianist who completed his doctoral studies at the National Music Academy “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” under the academic supervision of Prof. Zheni Zaharieva. He performed works by Bulgarian composers, the embassy reported on its website.
