Housing prices in Bulgaria rose by 6.2% in first quarter of 2026

Housing prices in Bulgaria increased by 6.2% in the first quarter of 2026 compared to the previous quarter (Q4 of 2025), according to the National Statistical Institute (NSI).
The largest increase was recorded in Burgas (+5.9%), followed by Sofia (+5.8%), Varna (+4.0%) and Plovdiv (+3.9%). A decrease was registered in Stara Zagora (-2.1%) and Ruse (-1.6%).
In the first quarter of 2026, housing prices in Bulgaria rose by 14.8% compared to the first quarter of 2025.
