Hot weather ahead as temperatures continue to rise

On Friday, the lowest temperatures will range between 15°C and 22°C, around 15°C in Sofia. The weather will be sunny, but in the afternoon, mainly in western and central Bulgaria, rain clouds will develop, bringing showers and thunderstorms in some areas. There will be a light northeasterly wind. Maximum temperatures will range between 30°C and 35°C, around 31°C in the capital city.

The weather will be sunny along the Black Sea coast. Daytime highs will range between 28°C and 31°C. The seawater temperature is 23°C-24°C. Sea state 1–2 on the Beaufort scale.

It will be mostly sunny in the mountains. Around midday and in the afternoon, cumulus and rain clouds will form, bringing showers and thunderstorms in some places. Winds will be light to moderate from the northeast. The maximum temperature will be around 24°C at an altitude of 1,200 metres and around 16°C at 2,000 metres.

On Saturday, the weather will remain sunny. There will be temporary cloud increases over the mountains, but the chance of rainfall will be low. Winds will be light from the north. Temperatures will rise by one to two degrees.
