Traffic is moving normally at all of Bulgaria's border checkpoints, the Border Police reported.

At the Ruse-Giurgiu border crossing, the major renovation of the Danube Bridge linking Bulgaria and Romania is expected to be completed by the end of the month. Traffic on the Bulgarian section of the bridge continues to be regulated in a single lane.

On the morning of June 26, traffic was restored on the repaired sections of the Trakia Motorway in the Yambol region, the Road Infrastructure Agency announced.

At around 2:00 p.m., traffic toward Burgas is also expected to resume on the repaired section of the Trakia Motorway in Sofia Province.

Repair works continue on the motorway in the Stara Zagora region. The carriageway toward Sofia is being renovated along a 21-kilometre stretch between kilometre markers 208 and 229, with traffic flowing in both directions on the carriageway toward Burgas. The closed section also includes the Stara Zagora motorway interchange. The renovated stretch is expected to reopen by July 3.

Temporary restrictions on heavy goods vehicles weighing over 12 tonnes will remain in force until Sunday along the busiest sections of the Trakia and Struma motorways.
