Political landscape remains unchanged, distrust in the government is rising

The ranking of Bulgaria's political parties remains largely unchanged from the most recent parliamentary elections, according to a nationally representative survey conducted by Market LINKS between June 13 and 21.

Speaking to bTV, sociologist Dobromir Zhivkov said that Progressive Bulgaria leads with 39.1% support. The GERB-SDS coalition follows with 13.1%, while the now dissolved We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria coalition receives 11.8%.

The Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) is supported by 4.9% of respondents, and the Vazrazhdane (Revival) party by 4.2%.

Public confidence in the National Assembly has risen slightly, from 19% to 22%. At the same time, distrust in the government has increased by 11 percentage points. The cabinet is trusted by 45% of respondents, while 32% disapprove of its performance. Another 27% declined to express an opinion.

Distrust in Prime Minister Rumen Radev has also increased by 9 percentage points, although 53% of respondents still say they trust him.
