More than 400 children from Bulgaria, Poland, Romania, Serbia and Moldova will take part in the 28th International Children's Dance Festival, "Tomorrow's Peace Begins with Today's Friendship," to be held in the Bulgarian town of Silistra from 1 to 3 July, the municipal administration announced.
Held under the patronage of Mayor Aleksandar Sabanov, the cultural event will once again bring together young performers from Bulgaria and abroad.
The festival will begin with a festive parade through the central streets of Silistra, followed by the official opening ceremony and the first festival concert at Svoboda Square. The programme also includes a workshop introducing participants to Bulgarian folk dances, a closing parade and a gala concert.
