Truck traffic towards Türkiye is intense

Traffic is intense at the border crossing "Kapitan Andreevo" at the exit for trucks crossing into Türkiye, the Border Police reported. Crossing is normal at all other border checkpoints with Greece, North Macedonia, Serbia and Romania.

Due to the heat, traffic for heavy trucks over 20 tons on the highways "Hemus", "Trakia", "Maritsa", "Struma" and "Evropa", as well as on the main first-class roads throughout the country, is again limited from 13:00 to 21:00, if the air temperature reaches 35 degrees, the Road Infrastructure Agency reported.
