US and Bulgarian military bands to perform free concert in Plovdiv's Old Town

Plovdiv's Ancient Theatre will host the festive concert "250 Years of the United States" on 2 July at 7:00 p.m., celebrating the upcoming 250th anniversary of the US Declaration of Independence. Admission is free.

The event is organized by the Embassy of the United States in Bulgaria, the Municipality of Plovdiv announced on its website.

The concert will feature performances by The Diplomats, a dynamic ensemble from the US Naval Forces Europe Band, the 129th Army Band of the Tennessee National Guard, and the Representative Wind Orchestra of the Bulgarian Air Force.

The audience will enjoy a varied musical programme featuring jazz, classic rock, blues and pop music, performed by military musicians from the United States and Bulgaria.
