About 1,170 Bulgarians who have returned from abroad will be able to
start a new life in smaller settlements together with their families.
They will be supported by the “I Choose Bulgaria” measure, thanks
to which nearly 2,000 compatriots have found work in this country.
Component 2 of “I
Choose Bulgaria” with a budget of 15 million euros will give people
a chance to move to smaller municipalities with under 50,000
inhabitants, to start a job or their own business, BNR reporter
Tsvetelina Stoyanova informs. The measure will also support employers
who are having difficulty finding employees.
Those who have
started work in a small settlement will receive a one-time grant of
up to 480 euros for moving their luggage, as well as up to 207 euros
per month for up to one year for rent. Funds will also be allocated
for travel to work, if it is outside the settlement. Additional
incentives are also planned for people who keep their employment in
the settlement.
Applications for the
project will be made on the website of the Employment Agency
www.az.government.bg.
