Four medals for Bulgarian students at the Balkan Physics Olympiad

Bulgarian students won one gold, one silver and two bronze medals at the 8th Balkan Physics Olympiad in Istanbul. This success once again confirmed the country’s strong performance in the prestigious international competition.

The gold medal went to Miroslav Draganov from the “Acad. Nikola Obreshkov” High School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Burgas. The silver medal went to Nikola Kostov from the Sofia High School of Mathematics, and the bronze medals were won by Boris Pulev from the National High School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and Kiril Momchilov from the Sofia High School of Mathematics.
