A to JazZ Festival kicks off today in Sofia

The 15^th A to JazZ Festival will take place in Sofia from July 2 to 5. Performances on the stage in South Park 2 will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will feature Grammy Award winners Miles Electric Band, Dee Dee Bridgewater and Nate Smith, as well as a number of other artists. The opening night is traditionally dedicated to the World Music Showcase.

Saturday and Sunday mornings will begin with a focus on health, featuring outdoor musical yoga sessions from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. on the terrace of Toplocentrala, followed by A to Jazz Workouts from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the TruBlu fitness playground in South Park 2. The A to JazZ Kids music workshops will then begin at 10:30 a.m. on the terrace of Toplocentrala.

When the main stage lights go out, the festival continues indoors at the Night Stage, which introduces a new format featuring live concerts followed by jazz jam sessions and DJ parties.
