Anthony Genov to play for doubles title in Troyes

Anthony Genov has qualified for the doubles final of the tennis tournament in Troyes (France) with a prize fund of 56,700 euros after success in a contested semi-final clash. The 24-year-old Bulgarian and his partner Kai Wehnelt (Germany), seeded No3., won against Alexander Merino (Peru) and Franco Ribero (Argentina) 6:7(5), 6:4, 10:8 after a little over two hours of playing.

With his success, Anthony Genov earned 30 points for the ATP world doubles ranking, where he occupies 203rd place, as well as 1,560 euros from the prize fund. In the game for title, he and Wehnelt will face the winner of the match between Jeffrey Hsu/Michael Zhu and Mats Hermans/Igor Marcondes.
