Bomb threats shut down courthouses across several cities

A series of bomb threats has prompted the evacuation of courthouses in Sofia and several other cities. Bomb threats have also been received via email by prosecutors’ offices, hospitals and government institutions. No explosive devices have been found, and the source of the threats remains unknown.

As a precaution, the buildings were evacuated and police teams carried out inspections. Court hearings scheduled for today have been postponed, and the parties involved will be summoned again to be informed of the new hearing dates, BGNES reported.
