The fifth edition of Q-Jazz Festival will take place from July 8 to 11 in the city centre. The programme features four premiere concerts by young performers, dedicated to Harry Sarkisyan, Velislav Asparuhov-Bago and Aleksandar Petkov, with the opening concert by The Fellowship of Jazz.
Due to the unfavourable weather forecast and expected rainfall, the organisers have announced an emergency change of venue. Instead of being held at Karantinata Beach, the concerts will move indoors to ReBonkers Club. There, audiences will enjoy original music and styles ranging from traditional bop to vibrant Afro-Cuban rhythms.
The musical evenings begin at 8:30 p.m., and admission to all events is completely free.
The main organiser of the festival is Dedal Art School for Children from Disadvantaged Backgrounds (Dedal Association).
The event is also being held with financial support from the Culture Fund of Varna Municipality.
