Sunny Friday, with isolated showers in the east and along the coast

Friday will begin with minimum temperatures between 12°C and 18°C, including around 12°C in Sofia. The day will be mostly sunny, although cumulus clouds will develop during the afternoon. Isolated short-lived showers are possible in eastern Bulgaria and the mountain regions. Winds will be light to moderate from the west-northwest. Daytime highs will range from 26°C to 31°C, reaching around 26°C in the capital.

Along the Black Sea coast, skies will be cloudier, with scattered showers possible in places, mainly in the afternoon. Winds will be light to moderate from the west before noon, shifting to east-southeasterly later in the day. Maximum temperatures will be between 25°C and 28°C. Sea water temperatures will range from 24°C to 26°C, with slight seas.

In the mountains, conditions will be mostly sunny, with afternoon cumulus cloud development. Isolated light showers are possible. Moderate west-northwesterly winds will continue, becoming strong over the highest peaks. Maximum temperatures will reach around 22°C at 1,200 metres and about 14°C at 2,000 metres.

Saturday will be sunny across the country. Winds will turn southerly and remain mostly light. Temperatures will rise, with daytime highs reaching 29°C to 34°C.
