Wizz Air to launch direct Varna-Basel route

Wizz Air will launch a direct route between Varna and Basel, Switzerland, on 27 October, the airline said. 
The service will operate twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The new route will provide a direct air link between Bulgaria's Black Sea city and northwestern Switzerland.

Wizz Air currently operates 23 routes from Varna to destinations in 13 countries. The airline has three aircraft based in the Black Sea city.
