Traffic at the borders with all neighbouring countries is normal

At the beginning of the week, traffic at the border crossings with Türkiye, Greece, North Macedonia, Serbia and Romania is normal, the Border Police has reported.

Road traffic in sections of the region of Kyustendil will temporarily change between July 13 and 17, the Road Infrastructure Agency reported. Grass will be cut along the Struma highway and the Daskalovo-Dupnitsa road. From the Gyueshevo border crossing to Radomir between 7 am and 3 pm, one lane will be closed sequentially and cars will be redirected to the free lane.

Over the past 24 hours, two people died and 27 have been injured in 23 serious accidents in the country. Since the beginning of July, 18 people died and 340 have been injured in 277 accidents. Since the beginning of the year, 235 people have died in road accidents. Compared to the same period in 2025, their number has increased by 25 victims.
