Bulgaria supports efforts to end hostilities in Gaza and the West Bank

Bulgaria is following with concern the developments in Gaza and the West Bank and will continue to support efforts to end hostilities in the region, Prime Minister Rumen Radev said at a meeting with the special envoy of the President of the State of Palestine, Dr Ahmed Majdalani. He said that this country supports the practical implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 2803 and the Comprehensive Plan for Gaza, which open the way to resuming the political process in search of a sustainable peace solution, of which the European Union is also a part. According to Rumen Radev, consistent efforts are needed from the entire international community to achieve a lasting and just peace.
