Aleksandar Nikolov finished the Volleyball Nations League regular season as its leading scorer with 278 points, edging Belgium's Ferre Reggers, who finished second on 268. The Bulgarian also topped the attacking rankings with 247 points and a 53.93% success rate.
Nikolov ranked third among servers with 20 aces, behind Dmytro Yanchuk of Ukraine and Japan's Ran Takahashi, who both recorded 21. Fellow Bulgarians Simeon Nikolov and Asparuh Asparuhov shared fourth place with 17 aces each.
Other Bulgarian players also featured prominently in the individual statistics. Alex Grozdanov finished fourth among blockers with 27 points, behind Canada's Jackson Howe, who led the standings with 45. Simeon Nikolov ranked sixth among setters with 307 successful sets, while France's Antoine Brizard topped the category with 396.
Following the tournament, Bulgaria are ranked 10th in the FIVB men's world rankings.
