Participants from four continents will gather in the northeastern Bulgarian city of Razgrad for the 24th Yoghurt Fair and Festival of Folk Traditions and Arts and Crafts, to be held from July 21 to 23, Mayor Dobrin Dobrev announced at a news conference.

Centred on Bulgarian yoghurt, one of the country's best-known national symbols, the three-day festival will bring together folk performers, artisans and cultural groups for a programme celebrating traditional music, dance and crafts.

The festival will welcome delegations from Razgrad's twin towns of Szombathely (Hungary), Slobozia and Călărași (Romania), Stăuceni (Moldova) and Gökçeada (Türkiye). Among the official guests will be Cuba's Ambassador to Bulgaria, Marieta Garcia Jordan.

The artistic programme will feature local ensembles alongside performers from Guam, Panama, Cuba, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Costa Rica and Venezuela, who will showcase the traditional music, dances and customs of their countries.
