US planes do not make us part of the conflict with Iran, president says

President Iliana Iotova inspected the deployment of new F-16s at the Graf Ignatievo airbase and commented on the US-requested deployment of tanker aircraft at the Bezmer military airport near Yambol. She said that the presence of the aircraft did not make the country part of the military operations in Iran.

"Personally, I hope that there will be a ceasefire soon. As far as I understand, there will be tanker planes again, which will not carry out any actions in Bulgarian airspace," the head of state commented.
