Bulgarian ministers present connectivity projects in Brussels

Minister of Foreign Affairs Velislava Petrova and Minister of Transport and Communications Georgi Peev met on July 22 in Brussels with EU Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos and members of the Cabinet of the President of the European Commission, the Foreign Ministry announced.

The improvement of connectivity between the EU, the Balkans, Ukraine, Moldova, the Caucasus and the Middle East was discussed. The two ministers presented Sofia's vision for the development of transport, energy and digital connections. They pointed out the importance of building on existing projects and implementing new initiatives of common European interest. The meeting also discussed the possibilities for financing these projects, including through public-private partnership mechanisms, as well as through EU instruments.
