Prime Minister calls on “America for Bulgaria” to finance scientific projects

Minister Rumen Radev met with the President of the “America for
Bulgaria” Foundation Nancy Schiller. The Executive Director of
the Foundation Desislava Taliokova
also participated in the meeting, the government press service
reported.
Projects
that with the support of the organization preserve the Bulgarian
cultural heritage and historical memory were discussed. Among them,
the restoration of the Bishop's Basilica of Philippopolis stands out,
as well as the house-museum of the Patriarch of Bulgarian Literature
- Ivan Vazov, in Sofia, which will soon open its doors with the
renovated museum collection to present the life and work of the Vazov
family, it was noted.
During
the conversation, Rumen Radev indicated that the country is
interested in financing and developing more scientific projects, as
well as initiatives in the field of high technologies. The foundation's representatives raised questions related to
the legal framework regulating the activities of non-governmental
organizations, BTA reports.
