Traffic at “Kapitan Andreevo” border crossing on the way out of the country to Türkiye is busy, the Border Police reported. Crossing is normal at all border checkpoints with Greece, North Macedonia, Serbia and Romania.

In order to ease car traffic during the expected trips at the end of the week, the Road Agency is introducing temporary restrictions on the movement of heavy trucks over 12 tons on the “Trakia” and “Struma” highways, as well as on the road through the Kresna Gorge. The restrictions for trucks will apply on Friday (July 24) from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and on Sunday (July 26): from 3:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. During these hours, drivers of heavy trucks travelling to and from Burgas can use the Republican Road I-6 as an alternative route. In the direction of "Kulata" towards Greece, the bypass route passes through the Simitli - Gotse Delchev road to the village of Chuchuligovo and from there to the connection with the main road at the village of Kulata.
