President Iliana Iotova condemns attack in Berlin

President Iliana Iotova expressed solidarity with the German people and deep regret after a woman was killed and 29 others were injured in an attack at the Berlin Pride event.

At this difficult time for the Federal Republic of Germany, I express deep regret and solidarity with the German people. I strongly condemn any act of terrorism, violence and extremism. Such crimes are an attack not only on human life, but also on the fundamental values ​​on which our democratic societies are built – freedom, dignity, tolerance and the rule of law, President Iotova added.
