The possibilities for popularizing the act of rescuing the Bulgarian Jews during World War II, including through the means of the film industry, were discussed by Prime Minister Rumen Radev and historian and politician from Israel, Prof. Michael Bar-Zohar. This was announced by the Council of Ministers on its Facebook page. Rumen Radev highlighted the significant contribution of Prof. Bar-Zohar to preserving and affirming the historical truth about this humane act of Bulgaria and preventing ideologemes and narratives from distorting it.

The common position was that the rescue of Bulgarian Jews is a remarkable example of humanity and tolerance in Europe and it is important that it is better known internationally.
