Intense transit traffic through the country towards Türkiye

Traffic at the “Kalotina” border crossing on the border with Serbia is intense at the entry for passenger cars. At “Kapitan Andreevo” border crossing on the border with Türkiye, passenger car traffic is intense at the exit, the Border Police reported on Tuesday. The passage through the other border crossings of the country with Greece, North Macedonia and Romania is normal.

There were no deaths in the last 25 serious accidents that occurred in the country over the past 24 hours. 33 people were injured. Since the beginning of the month, 46 people died in accidents. Since the beginning of the year, 264 people died in road accidents. 804 people were injured in road accidents this month and 4,565 since the beginning of the year. Compared to the same period in 2025, the number of deaths has increased by 33 people, the Traffic Police reported.
