Traffic of cars entering Bulgaria at Kalotina remains intense

Traffic at the "Kalotina" border crossing with Serbia is intense, the Border Police announced. Due to sanitary control measures, the crossing from Bulgaria to Greece at the Makaza checkpoint is slower than usual. Traffic at the remaining border crossings with Türkiye, Greece, North Macedonia, Serbia and Romania is normal for the season.

Three people died in 26 serious accidents in the country over the past 24 hours, 31 have been injured, the Traffic Police reported. Since the beginning of the month, 50 people died in accidents in the country and 268 died since the beginning of the year. The number of injured in road accidents this month is 831, and since the beginning of the year - 4,592. Compared to the same period last year, the number of people who lost their life on the roads has increased by 36 people.
