Burgas
Airport welcomed its one-millionth passenger for 2026 on July 30. The
passenger arrived on a flight from the Polish city of Katowice along
with 150 other passengers and received gifts and a specially prepared
cake.
This
year, the airport reached the threshold of one million passengers
served a day earlier than in 2025. This is a very good sign for the
development of traffic and gives reason to expect that we will
maintain the previous levels and it is even possible to surpass
them, the airport director Vasil Atanasov told media.
