The mountain resort of Borovets will host the Dr Emil Iliev International Jazz Festival from July 31 to Aug. 4, bringing together musicians from Bulgaria, Switzerland, Spain, Cameroon and France.
Free evening concerts will begin at 7 p.m. and feature performers including Richard Bona Trio (Cameroon/France), Spanish bassist Vincen García, Switzerland's The Eastern Quartet, Spectrum Vocal Band, Emil Tasev Quartet, YAVI and Big Band Blagoevgrad.
The festival programme also includes a meeting with Bulgarian writer Zdravka Evtimova.
