International musicians perform on Mount Todorka to mark Bansko Jazz Festival

The 29th Bansko Jazz Fest got an unusual start as more than 40 young musicians from 10 countries carried their instruments to the summit of Mount Todorka for a high-altitude performance. They reached the peak by chairlift and on foot.

The concert echoed the festival's message that music has the power to unite. Against the spectacular mountain backdrop, the musicians performed classical works and jazz standards, BTA reported.

The initiative was organised by the Aramis Symphony Orchestra of the Mannheim International Cultural Centre with the support of Bansko Municipality.
