Traffic towards Türkiye continues to be intense

There is intense traffic of cars at the exit to Türkiye at Kapitan Andreevo border crossing. The traffic of cars entering Bulgaria at the “Kalotina” border crossing with Serbia is also intense, the Border Police report.

At the beginning of the week, traffic at the other border crossings with Greece, North Macedonia and Romania is normal. There is an increased flow of cars at the Kulata border crossing to Greece.

Starting Monday, August 3, the Dereköy - Malko Tarnovo border crossing between Bulgaria and Türkiye will allow the passage of light commercial vehicles weighing up to 3.5 tons in both directions, the Turkish Ministry of Trade announced in a statement, BTA reports.
