The level of the Danube River in the Bulgarian section of the river continues to drop. This was announced by the Executive Agency for Research and Maintenance of the Danube River in Ruse. For the past 24 hours, no information has been received about vessels that are stuck. The hydrological situation remains complicated. This makes navigation conditions difficult and requires the introduction of temporary restrictions in certain critical sections.

There are 3 vessels that have been stuck for more than a week in the Bulgarian section, but they are outside the shipping lane and do not interfere with navigation. The level of the Danube River near Ruse is minus 91 cm. compared to the reference zero level. It has dropped by 2 cm. for a day. The forecast for the next two days is for the river level to drop by another 3 cm.
