On Tuesday, minimum temperatures in Bulgaria will range from 9°C in Smolyan to 21°C in Yambol. In Sofia, the minimum temperature will be around 16°C.
The day will be sunny, with hot conditions developing in the lowlands during the afternoon. There will be temporary increases in cloud cover, mainly over eastern Bulgaria and the mountainous areas, but little to no rainfall is expected. Winds will be light to moderate from the northeast.
Daytime highs will range between 32°C and 38°C, with lower maximum temperatures along the Black Sea coast. In the capital, temperatures will reach around 33°C.
Along the Black Sea coast, the weather will be mostly sunny. Light northeasterly winds will prevail, becoming moderate along the southern coast. Maximum air temperatures will range from 29°C to 32°C. Sea water temperatures are around 25°C, with sea conditions remaining calm at 1 to 2 on the Beaufort scale.
In the mountains, the weather will be sunny, with temporary increases in cloud cover during the afternoon, but little chance of rain. Winds will be light to moderate from the northeast. Maximum temperatures will reach around 28°C at 1,200 metres and 20°C at 2,000 metres.
Wednesday will remain sunny and hot, with occasional increases in cloud cover but only a slight chance of rainfall. Winds will be light, becoming moderate from the northeast along the Black Sea coast during the afternoon.
