Yellow heat warnings are in place across 22 regions of Bulgaria

On Wednesday, minimum temperatures will range from 14°C to 22°C. The forecast for Sofia is 14°C. Skies will be mainly sunny.

Cumulus clouds will develop in the afternoon, primarily over mountainous regions, where isolated showers are expected. The lowlands will remain dry and hot. There will be a light to moderate easterly wind.

Maximum temperatures will range from 33 to 38°C. In the capital, it will reach around 33°C.
A yellow warning for dangerous heat has been issued for 22 regions across the country.

Along the Black Sea coast, it will be sunny with a moderate north-easterly wind. Maximum air temperatures will range from 28 to 30°C. The sea temperature is around 25°C. The sea will be calm, reaching a Beaufort scale rating of 2.

In the mountains, it will be mainly sunny with an increase in cumulus cloud cover in the afternoon. There is a possibility of brief showers, particularly in the Rila-Rhodope region. The wind will be moderate and blow from the east-north-east. At 1,200 metres above sea level, the maximum temperature will be around 29°C and at 2,000 metres it will be around 21°C.

On Thursday, it will remain warm and hot. Temperatures will rise further, with maximums ranging between 34 and 39°C.
