Bulgarian students win 68 medals at international science Olympiads this year

Bulgarian students have won 68 medals at international science Olympiads and competitions held so far this year, the Education Ministry said.

Education Minister Georgi Valchev congratulated the medal winners, emphasising that Bulgaria needs "talented, capable, knowledgeable and responsible young people". The students received honorary certificates and e-book readers in recognition of their achievements.

Bulgaria's national teams are set to compete in four more international Olympiads this year: in informatics, artificial intelligence, geography and astronomy and astrophysics.
