Bulgarian Prime Minister has phone conversation with UK Foreign Secretary

Prime Minister Rumen Radev held a phone conversation with UK Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband, the press service of the Council of Ministers reported. The two discussed energy cooperation, security challenges and NATO partnership.

BTA recalls that a week ago, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Alexander Pulev, stated at a briefing after a government meeting that Bulgaria would again request an extension of the derogation from the US, adding that the deadline for renewing the license is October. Last week, an official request for an extension of the derogation license was submitted by the UK authorities, Pulev also said.
