Car traffic is intense at Kapitan Andreevo border crossing

Traffic at the main border crossing with Türkiye - "Kapitan Andreevo" for cars entering and exiting the country is intense, the Border Police reported. Traffic at the other border crossings with Greece, North Macedonia, Serbia and Romania is normal.

To increase safety, on Friday afternoon and Sunday, the movement of heavy trucks over 12 tons in both directions on the "Trakia" and "Struma" highways will be limited, as well as on the road through the Kresna Gorge from the "Simitli" road junction to the "Kulata" border crossing to Greece, the Road Infrastructure Agency reported. On Friday, the restriction will be between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m., and on Sunday - from 3:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
