The military plant in the village of Belitsa near Tryavna remains under surveillance after explosions at an ammunition depot. A fire broke out in the area, which required firefighters to be on duty at the site overnight. The flames in a forest have been brought under control and there is no danger to people and settlements, Chief Commissioner Alexander Dzhartov, head of General Directorate for Fire Safety and Protection of the Population, said.
The
on-site investigation into the incident at the EMCO company plant on
August 10 will begin on August 11 after 2:30 p.m. There is ammunition
scattered on the site of the plant and 500 m. around it. Actions will
begin to neutralize it, announced the director of the Gabrovo
regional police, Chief Commissioner Ilian Ivanov.
The
Mayor of Tryavna Dencho Minev once again pointed out to the Bulgarian
National Radio that the air quality is normal and there is no cause
