Levski move closer to Champions League, CSKA 1948 lose to Panathinaikos

Bulgarian football champions Levski beat Kazakhstan’s Kairat Almaty 1–0 in their away match. With a 2–0 aggregate victory in the third qualifying round of the Champions League, Levski has secured at least a place in the league phase of the UEFA Europa League. To reach the Champions League league phase, Levski will have to overcome Greek champions AEK Athens. Reinaldo scored the only goal of the match in the 13th minute.
CSKA 1948 lost 2–1 at home to Panathinaikos in the Conference League qualifying round, ending their European campaign for this season. After an even first half, Panathinaikos dominated after the break and took the lead in the 60th minute through Levi Garcia. Lasha Dvali equalised in the 87th minute to send the match into extra time.
Five minutes into extra time, Panathinaikos regained the lead after a costly mistake by the CSKA 1948 goalkeeper, which was capitalised on by Cyriel Dessers.
