Bulgarian Embassy in Washington receives US flag

Shortly before the US Congress went on summer recess, the acting head of the Bulgarian Embassy in Washington, Stefka Yovcheva, received a special gift from Congressman Joe Wilson, founder and co-chair of the Congressional Bulgaria Caucus. The Embassy of Bulgaria in the US announced this on its Facebook page. This is an American flag that was flown over the Capitol on July 4, 2026.
