Bulgaria seeks more investments and technological partnership with Switzerland

Bulgaria and Switzerland will seek opportunities for more Swiss investments and closer cooperation in high technologies, artificial intelligence and innovative medicine. This was discussed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Velislava Petrova and the Swiss Ambassador to Bulgaria Pierre Hagmann, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports. The Bulgarian Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Technology INSAIT, established in partnership with the Swiss ETH in Zurich and EPFL in Lausanne, was cited as a successful example of partnership.

Petrova and Hagmann also discussed the Swiss-Bulgarian Cooperation Programme, which includes 11 programs in areas such as health, education, migration and security, environment and climate. Petrova said that the government would work to accelerate the projects.
