The
traditional crafts fair in the village of Oreshak near Troyan will be
held from August 13 to 16. It will bring together master craftsmen
and traders from all over the country, BTA reported. Visitors will be
able to explore three main areas – "Craft Street", a
trading area and a children's entertainment area.
The
crafts fair in Oreshak is among the largest events of this kind in
Bulgaria. Its beginnings date back to the second half of the 18th
century, when craftsmen from all over the country presented their
products around the walls of the Troyan monastery during the temple
holiday, the organizers recall.
