Government sets goal of building a modern, high-tech Bulgaria

The Bulgarian government has adopted the 2026-2030 Governance Programme of the Republic of Bulgaria. The document is based on the programme of “Progressive Bulgaria” party, with a focus on restoring statehood and upholding the rule of law.

The government’s vision is for Bulgaria to develop as “a modern, socially responsible, secure and high-tech European state with resilient institutions, a competitive economy and a long-term development outlook that ensures the well-being of its citizens, safeguards the national interest and preserves Bulgaria as a strong, vibrant and prosperous nation-state for future generations”, BTA reported.
